The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia discussed issues of Russian - Hungarian cooperation in the agrarian sector
February 8, 2016 the first deputy of the Russian Federation Minister of Agriculture Yevgeny Gromyko held a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Hungary Istvan Nagy.
The parties discussed issues of Russian-Hungarian cooperation in the field of agriculture, in particular, the mutual trade in agricultural products, joint ventures, cooperation in the field of viticulture and winemaking, elite seed production, animal husbandry, as well as issues of veterinary and phytosanitary supervision.
The parties noted that the Russian-Hungarian relations in the agrarian sector of mutual interest and have the potential of development, despite the difficult trading and economic environment.
At the end of the meeting Yevgeny Gromyko thanked the Hungarian delegation for its participation to the national exposition at the International Exhibition of food products and PRODEXPO drinks - 2016 , held in Moscow from 8 to 12 February 2016, and invited to participate in the activities of the Eastern Economic Forum , the anniversary of the 20th St. Petersburg international economic forum and the Second World grain forum , noting the importance of such areas , including for the strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
