Wheat Gluten AminoSiB® in Latin America
01.08.2025300 metric tons of wheat gluten produced by AminoSiB JSC are scheduled for shipment to one of the major countries in Latin America in the coming months. In parallel, a pilot batch of 25 tons will soon begin its complex logistics route, passing through several European ports before crossing the ocean to reach its final destination.
Latin America is showing a steadily rising interest in importing wheat gluten, largely due to the absence of local deep-processing facilities. At present, most supplies originate from Europe and China, but the market is increasingly opening up to new suppliers.
Russian gluten is gaining strong traction in the region. Unlike soy protein, it is environmentally clean and non-GMO, which is a key requirement for local consumers. It occupies a competitive mid-range price segment, positioned between European and Chinese products, while offering quality comparable to European standards.
AminoSiB’s key competitive strength lies in its fully integrated raw-material base: the plant is part of Agroholding Yubileiny, which harvests more than 240,000 tons of grain annually. This ensures stable sourcing and consistent quality. The company has built a strong reputation as a producer committed to rigorous quality control at every stage of production.
