Aminosib is ready for exports in containers!

11.08.2025

Our wheat deep-processing plant has successfully tested export container shipments using our own rail siding and gantry crane — a move that will significantly reduce logistics time and costs.

Previously, our exports relied on multimodal transportation that included trucks, making up to 50% of the land leg in both cost and time. To optimize, we explored removing trucking from the supply chain altogether.

From the design stage, we built in dedicated rail access and a container-accredited loading site. However, Ishim station still lacks the permit for container operations, and our tracks cannot accommodate a full 76-platform train.

To prove readiness, we ran a test shipment of 44 containers in three batches. The loading process went smoothly, stayed on schedule, and confirmed the efficiency and reliability of our in-house equipment.

Next step: obtaining Ishim station’s permit — a milestone that will allow us to eliminate trucking completely, making our exports faster, more cost-efficient, and more competitive globally.
